Your domains are providing free web adverts from you to 1and1's other customers.

Seen from eg Germany, those ads are exclusively German adverts,
even if your domain is eg in the UK.
Doubtless 1and1 look at browser's IP number, conclude in Germany
ignoring browsers explicit language preference eg:
    HTTP_ACCEPT_LANGUAGE=en,fr;q=0.8,de;q=0.7,it;q=0.5,nl;q=0.3,sp;q=0.2
as shown by 
    http://www.berklix.net/cgi-bin/printenv
and just emit random German adverts.

It's easy to create a minimal web page with pointers to things you
prefer to support rather than junk random ads, even if you remain anonymous.

Though hand editing back from most pages is too difficult, as most HTML
files are a horrible mess if you read the source produced by monster packages.

- browsers such as firefox also support an HTML editor,
- so do open office, libre office etc,
- even MS Word can export in HTML I believe.
